Week 15: Project #5 Art Criticism Article

Blog Reflection Submission Requirements:
Answer the Following Questions:

1. Which projects did you review? The project I chose to review was called “Unconditional” Artistic Displays of the Mother’s Unconditional Love for her Child.

2. Why did you select the Exhibit you critiqued? I selected this PowerPoint because it was one of the few that caught my eye it was based on a mother’s love toward her child.

3. What challenges did you face in writing the critique article and how did you overcome them?  The only challenge I had in critiquing this PowerPoint was finding what to even write about. I felt like there were more positives than negatives so for me there wasn’t much to critic.

4. How do you feel about critiquing your peers work? At first I felt it was kind of weird; not having to critic someone’s work but having someone looks at mine. Overall, I felt like critiquing your peers work helps them be acknowledged for their hard work and as well gives feedback to maybe something that could be improved for future projects.

5. Would you like to read the critique your peers wrote about your Art Curation Project? Yes, I would like to read what my peers have said about my project even though it makes me nervous I like hearing feedback whether good or bad.

6. On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your finished article and why? I would rate my article an 8 or higher because I really thought out what should be written and really acknowledged everything that was in the PowerPoint and critiqued it to my best ability.

7. Did you enjoy working on this project? Overall, I did enjoy being able to look at my peers work but I can honestly say I didn’t enjoy having to write a long article about it.
