1. Discuss what you thought about creating the Value Scale and Color Wheel.
When it came to creating the color wheel I found it more entertaining than the value scale. While creating the color wheel I found fun having to deal with different colors and mixing them around to create another color. On the other hand, the value scale was more challenging to do because it was ten different grey shades you had to come up with. In the end this mini project was fun to do.
2. Which media did you enjoy working with the best and why?
The media that I enjoyed working with better was the pencil. I only liked the pencil because it was easier to control. When it came to the shading if it was too dark or light I could erase or just color in with the pencil more. When it came to painting you needed luck once you messed one part up there was no going back to fix it unless you wanted to start over.
3. What was the most important discovery in the creation of these studies?
The most important thing that I discovered while doing the color wheel was when it came to creating the colors. During this I got to see the difference in the primary and secondary colors and which ones mixed together to make another color. I found that using red, blue, and yellow instead of the other colors can make secondary colors all over again.
4. What is the most important information you learned from watching the videos for this project? What is your opinion of the videos?
The most important information that I learned after
watching the videos for this project was as I said previously, discovering the
difference between the primary colors of red, blue and yellow and the primary
colors of cyan, yellow, and magenta. I felt like these videos were very useful
and helped throughout the whole process.
